Customer terms

About these terms

These terms are between you and QuickStore ("QuickStore", "we"), the operator of myquick.store, Lusaka, Zambia. QuickStore is a platform: it gives businesses a shop page, chat, bookings and orders, and gives you a way to deal with them. The business you buy from or book with is the one who sells to you.

By using a shop page, chatting, booking, ordering or paying through QuickStore you accept these terms.

Using QuickStore

  • You can look at shops and send a message without signing up.
  • To order, book or follow a shop you confirm your mobile number with an SMS code. Use your own number and keep your details correct.
  • You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission.
  • Do not use QuickStore to break the law, harass anyone, send spam, or try to get around how it works.

Orders and payments

  • The price, delivery fee and availability are set by the shop. The total is shown before you pay.
  • Where mobile money payments are available, you pay QuickStore and we hold your money safely until you confirm you received your order, or until the automatic release date shown on your order. Then it goes to the shop.
  • If something is wrong, tap Raise an issue on your order before the money is released. The shop and QuickStore will look at it, and you may be refunded in full or in part.
  • Mobile money networks may charge their own fees. We cannot control them.

Bookings

Some services ask for a deposit to hold your time. The shop's cancellation window is shown when you book. If you cancel in time, your deposit is returned; otherwise the shop may keep it. You can change or cancel a booking from its page.

Chat and calls

  • Chats are private between you and the shop. The shop does not see your phone number, only a name or "Customer" and a number.
  • Calls happen in your browser through QuickStore. Neither side sees the other's phone number or internet address.
  • We may keep messages so we can sort out disputes and keep people safe. Be respectful; we can block accounts that are abusive.

Offers

If you tap Follow on a shop and agree, that shop can send you offers by SMS and in your QuickStore inbox. We limit how many you get. Reply STOP or tap Unfollow at any time, or switch off all offers in Me.

Your account and your data

You can see, download and delete your data in Me on myquick.store. Our Privacy policy explains what we keep and why.

Our responsibility

We work to keep QuickStore available and your money and data safe. We are not the seller of what businesses offer, so the shop is responsible for its goods and services. As far as the law allows, QuickStore is not liable for losses caused by a shop, by mobile money networks, or by things outside our control. Nothing here limits rights you have under Zambian law that cannot be limited.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If a change matters to you we will tell you in QuickStore. These terms follow the laws of Zambia. Questions or complaints: the contact details shown on myquick.store.
