Who we are
QuickStore ("QuickStore", "we") runs myquick.store, Lusaka, Zambia. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who sees it, and the choices you have. Contact us at the contact details shown on myquick.store.
What we collect
If you shop, book or chat
- Your mobile number, once you confirm it with an SMS code. We keep it encrypted. Shops never see it.
- A name if you give one (to a shop in chat, or saved in your account), and the delivery address and notes you enter on an order.
- Your messages and photos in chats, your orders and bookings, and which shops you follow.
- Technical information: a cookie that recognises your phone, a sign-in cookie, and anonymous page statistics (such as which options people tap).
If you run a shop
Your name and mobile number, your business details, photos, products and prices, your mobile money payout wallet, and the mobile numbers of staff you invite (we keep only a scrambled version to match them when they sign in, plus the last four digits).
How we use it
- To run QuickStore: sign you in, show shops, pass messages, process orders and bookings, hold and pay out money, and handle disputes.
- To send SMS codes and, if you agreed, offers and order or booking updates.
- To keep QuickStore safe, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal duties such as keeping financial records.
- To understand and improve QuickStore, using statistics that do not identify you.
We do not sell your information.
Who can see what
- Shops see a name or "Customer" and a number, what you tell them in chat, and the details of orders and bookings you make with them. They do not see your phone number.
- Staff of a shop see only what the shop owner lets them: their own bookings and the chats assigned to them.
- Our team can see your number only when needed to help you or investigate a problem, and each time is logged.
- Service providers help us run QuickStore: SMS delivery, mobile money payment partners, and hosting. They only receive what they need to do their job.
- We may share information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- While your account exists, we keep your details so QuickStore works for you.
- If you delete your account, your number, name, saved details, chats, photos, follows and offers are erased. Shops keep the items and amounts of past orders for their accounts, with your address, notes and wallet number removed.
- Financial records are kept as long as the law requires. Anonymous statistics may be kept.
Your choices and rights
- See and download your data, change your saved name and address, stop offers, and delete your account in Me on myquick.store.
- Ask us at the contact details shown on myquick.store if you need help with any of this, or want to correct something, object to how we use your information, or complain.
- You can complain to the Zambian data protection authority if you think we handled your information wrongly.
Security
Phone numbers are stored encrypted, sign-in uses one-time codes, money movements are recorded in a ledger, and access to personal data is limited and logged. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us at once if you think your account was used by someone else.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: one that recognises your phone, one that keeps you signed in for up to six months, one that remembers your light or dark mode, and one that tells our pages you are signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
Children
QuickStore is not for children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters to you we will tell you in QuickStore.
